Zovio Director of Digital Experience in Chandler, Arizona

Position Summary:

In this newly created role, you will focus on setting the vision and shaping the future of how consumers connect and engage with the online marketing properties for Zovio and our clients. This individual will be responsible for managing and evaluating overall marketing web performance, technologies, optimization, reporting and communication of actionable insights in order to help influence our marketing strategy. You will lead a team that is passionate about experience design and experts in digital consumer behaviors. Your team is the interpreter between marketing, sales & developers who can bridge the gaps and connect all the dots. You have rare combined strengths in performance media, experience design and enterprise marketing technologies that lead improved marketing results and competitive advantage.

Located in Chandler, AZ and reporting to the Associate VP, Creative.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Drive a strategy focused on designing and measuring user experiences that balances user intent, business needs, and site performance

  • Oversee and Lead optimization testing (A/B and multivariate)

  • Drive a distinctive, brand-aligned experience across our web properties

  • Monitor site performance and ensuring our web properties delivers on traffic, engagement, speed and conversion goals

  • Work hand-in-hand with digital marketing team to optimize page performance for organic and paid efforts

  • Efficiently oversee projects and project schedules with ease, ensuring careful attention to detail while also keeping the big picture in mind.

  • Own and develop a roadmap for the overall portfolio of digital capabilities demonstrating maximum impact achievable

  • Lead the combined efforts of agencies and internal resources to deliver on web site goals in alignment with business objectives

  • Communicate site priorities, project plans and budgets to leadership and key stakeholders to ensure team alignment

  • Manage new site developments and re-designs for websites across the department

  • Research and evaluate new tools and technologies that may enhance our web properties user experience

  • Manage web agencies relationship

Minimum Requirements :

  • 8-10 years of experience of getting digital products out to the world

  • Excellent customer service to internal and external clients

  • Significant experience managing complex digital products requiring strong leadership to align multiple teams and stakeholders

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is a way of life

  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, to back up assumptions and develop business cases

  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and various marketing technology related tools i.e. Drupal, Salesforce, Optimizely, Hotjar

  • Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in-house or agency experience

  • Resume with portfolio (digital is preferred) of past projects and examples of reporting

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
