Zovio People Services Advisor in Chandler, Arizona

The Fullstack People Services Advisor will provide operational level support to Fullstack’s ever-growing employee and instructor population. This position plays a critical role in delivering the “WOW” FullStaffer employee experience (EX) by helping create and coordinate company policies, procedures, and programs. This role reports to the Director, People Business Partner, functioning as a thought partner to the organization, and directly impacting people centric initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a bias for thinking systemically about the employee experience, delivering results and partnering in a matrixed environment.


  • Partnering with the People Services Center and leading the Fullstaffer employee experience, serves as the point of contact on all People Services (HR) matters, including benefits, compliance, payroll, leaves of absence, worker's compensation, separations, unemployment claims and more

  • In the spirit of Continuous Improvement and as a Fullstack culture champion, provides feedback and drives increased support for Fullstaffers via the People Service Center to ensure and refine a Best-In-Class employee experience

  • Owns Fullstack’s employee onboarding program including design, development, coordination, and implementation

  • Partners with both leaders and employees, functioning as the first point of contact for Employee Relations concerns and needs

  • Manages Human Resource Projects and Initiatives including Engagement and Employee Experience, HR Reporting and analysis, exit interviews and employee programs

  • Supervises the development and ensures accuracy of self-service resources and guides

  • Coaches leaders and supports leader development on performance management, conflict resolution, challenging conversations, and other management topics as needed

  • Oversees the maintenance and compliance of human resources records, annual audits, and employee training requirements

  • Collaborates with the PBP, employees, and managers to identify root causes of HR issues and proactively attempts to resolve issues at the earliest level

  • Assists with the development and dissemination of various reports related to People programs and functions

  • Provides guidance and support on Company-wide programs and initiatives (Workforce Planning, Organizational Changes, Organizational Development, HR Systems Support) to promote and coordinate HR responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with US law, New York law, and other state laws when required

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years of Human Resources experience, providing service to business leaders and employees on a variety of HR matters

  • Strong knowledge of general human resources practices and programs, as well as federal and state employment laws

  • Proven ability in establishing excellent rapport with managers and other HR professionals

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

  • Highly developed skills associated with conflict resolution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership/management experience

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience required
