Job Description:

Management and Administration

  • Responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are successfully implemented.

  • Ensures that projects are technically sound, evidence-based, and consistent with stakeholders’ priorities.

  • Provides oversight of project/program implementation including all activities, outputs, and outcomes related to project management and administration, including reporting of project status, budget monitoring, execution of project plans, and project performance.

  • Develops accurate timelines for project deliverables that support the overall timeline of project completion.

  • Conducts regular project reviews to ensure accountability of all project activities as well as the accurate and timely reporting of project success metrics.


  • Be a trusted advisor to business leaders by collaborating on ideas, identifying problems, and recommending alternative solutions that create the highest value.

  • Acts as the primary project contact person and liaison, ensuring the project is represented in project review meetings.

  • Coordinate with functional leaders to scope projects, develop, track and manage project workflows, mitigate risks and issues, and communicate progress updates

  • Effectively communicate ideas and initiative updates with senior leadership and other department personnel.

Technical Leadership

  • Develops a detailed implementation plan in line with the agreed scope and resources.

  • Oversees development of a monitoring and evaluation plan for the successive phases of the project to capture project performance and results.

  • Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.

  • Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.

  • Accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.

Additional Job Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • Executes with high level of ownership and responsiveness; utilizes relationships and influence to achieve results

  • Energize and enroll others in the pursuit of leveraging data and analytics to inform strategic decision making

  • Utilizes relationships and internal networks to bring together stakeholders and subject-matter-experts to execute key initiatives and projects

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive work experience in management consulting, business process improvement or strategic planning required

  • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities

  • Entrepreneurial spirit to create new and imaginative possibilities for revolutionizing the student experience

  • Solid understanding of the project lifecycles for a research initiative and data science initiative

  • Candidate will possess strong analytical skills with a focus on systems & process scalability

  • Good communication skills, including the ability to reinforce process change and garner trust via excellent interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present information to Executives in an effective manner

  • Ability to execute multiple parallel assignments in a high-quality manner while hitting deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and manage indirect employees to achieve organizational objectives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in higher education industry

  • PMP Certification, ADKAR, SAFe Lean Portfolio Management

  • Familiarity with reporting analytics tools; PowerBI and/or Tableau Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business or related field)

  • Master’s degree in related field preferred
