The Education Partnerships Representative position is a full-time, remote employment opportunity. Under limited supervision, the Education Partnership Representative will schedule, organize, and attend events at companies, organizations, and local community events to increase awareness and generate interest in further exploring educational programs at Zovio.
Essential Job Duties:
Represent Zovio in a professional and service-oriented manner.
At all times conduct oneself with honesty and integrity, while maintaining open channels of communication with management.
Schedule, plan and execute an average of ten (10) student outreach events (e.g. lunch and learns, table sits, education fairs, webinars, information sessions) per month with our employer partners.
Research, identify, and attend outreach opportunities (e.g. consortium events, conferences) to promote Zovio.
Assist with account management activities. Develop, grow, and maintain lasting relationships with new and existing corporate clients.
Stay apprised of current events within the industry and the market. Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all Zovio programs, plus all regulatory, operational, and compliance guidelines of the industry and Zovio.
Prepare activity reports for management review. Which includes experience using CRM tools such as salesforce and Microsoft Office suite of products.
Be responsible with company resources including monthly expense accounting.
Work collaboratively within the Zovio Employer Services Team and with other departments.
Must possess a thorough knowledge of business and marketing.
Must have proven results in account management.
Must have experience in developing and delivering presentations to small and large groups.
Must have proven outside business development experience for at least one year
Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills to accurately convey information and increase positive awareness of the Zovio.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively while working remotely.
Must possess problem solving ability and creative and critical thinking skills.
Must have a valid driver's license applicable to the State in which position is located.
Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends, including overnight travel.

Must have a dedicated home office workspace with access to high speed internet
Must have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time including air travel and use of rental cars (all travel is company paid).
- Experience in higher education market and industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree.
New hires will receive one week of onboarding and initial skills training. Remote new hires (i.e. outside of the Phoenix area) will be onboarded and receive initial skills training through a virtual forum.
Following the initial training, new EPRs have a 90-day ramp-up during which monthly goals progressively increase. Following the initial week of training and during the subsequent 90 days of development, under the guidance of their EPR Manager, new hires will be expected to shadow other EPRs, attend virtual and on-site events, begin outreach campaigns to existing and new corporate points-of-contact, and help plan and organize lead generation events and professional development webinars, along with other duties as assigned during this ramp-up period.
There are up to two required ‘All Hands’ training/sales conferences that our entire department attends each year in Chandler and/or San Diego (typically in May and December)
Growth and Advancement:
Internal growth opportunities are available to EPRs after 1 year in their role.
EPRs can move up into either an EPR II role or a Corporate Account Executive role or consider other career pathway opportunities within the organization.
All employees are also eligible to take advantage of a degree program at the University of Arizona Global Campus.
