Zovio Paid Social Analyst in San Diego, California

Position Summary:

This position is a full-time employment opportunity, located in Chandler, Arizona . As the Paid Social Analyst, you will be part of an energetic and innovative company changing the way we educate, where roles and responsibilities evolve as we grow, and we learn from our students and the marketplace. The most critical responsibility is to expect and embrace change. The primary objective of this role is to drive new student acquisition as well as brand awareness.

The Paid Social Analyst will work within the Paid Media Team to drive and support all paid social initiatives for Zovio Education. They will manage efforts across multiple display platforms within the parameters set forth by the Digital Marketing Manager. They will help develop and execute the paid social strategy and act as the subject matter expert between clients, vendors, Zovio, and perform various other duties in facilitating the relationship with clients. This individual will bring a strong knowledge of Digital Marketing to support team objectives of driving traffic and sales while enhancing the customer and brand experience.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Assist in planning and execution of highly targeted paid social media plans including prospecting and remarketing on platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.

  • Become an internal subject matter expert on paid social campaigns and learn to effectively communicate campaign results, goals and tactics to leadership across a variety of areas within the organization

  • Help manage budgets at the channel level as well as between platforms and strategies to drive optimal results

  • Create ongoing and ad hoc performance reports at the channel and vendor levels used to optimize current strategy, report to internal teams, and track historical data

  • Become a liaison with agency partners such as Facebook and LinkedIn, and internal teams to drive conversion-focused traffic to the website

  • Utilize data amongst customer insights, competitors, and industry trends to create effective ads

  • Work with internal creative teams and outside agency to produce creative briefs and assets

  • Ability to forecast and analyze data from campaigns to show return on spend

  • Support internal alignment and develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams that support the business goals and annual brand plan

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6 mo – 1yr+ experience managing campaigns within Facebook Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager

  • Intermediate understanding of digital marketing and the digital customer journey, as well as familiarity with multi-touch attribution

  • Strong understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, and ability to generate, analyze and interpret data

  • Strong time management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Fluent in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agency and/or higher education vertical experience

  • Tableau and Power BI

  • Google Analytics certification


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
