This position is a full-time hybrid remote/in-office employment opportunity, located in Chandler, Arizona. As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will be part of an energetic and innovative company changing the way we educate, where roles and responsibilities evolve as we grow, and we learn from our students and the marketplace. The most critical responsibility is to expect and embrace change. The objectives of this role are to promote brand awareness and drive new student acquisition.
The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for coordinating with other marketing team members to implement innovative campaigns for branding and product launches. Duties include researching target audiences, reporting on campaign performance, and supporting new campaign initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Product Marketing Manager, this position works with other marketing functional teams and the client to plan and execute marketing strategies that drive customer success and deliver the expected business results.
Essential Job Duties:
Assist in development, implementation and tracking of marketing programs that include defining target audiences, product positioning and requirements, points of differentiation and messaging.
Assist in development and execution of marketing plans that include digital, content and traditional marketing tactics.
Collaborate with other internal teams to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns
Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify customer trends, competitor offers, and other new opportunities
Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met
Proofread and edit creative content across different mediums to ensure alignment
Work with our external agency to execute marketing campaigns
Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
Manage the development of student personas to help the organization understand the students’ needs, motivations and desired outcomes.
Engage in internal research to capture the voice of the customer (customer journey maps) and apply it to marketing & product development initiatives.
3-5 years’ marketing related experience (product marketing, field marketing, digital marketing or marketing communications)
Experience and track record of success within large, complex organizations
Strong verbal, written, presentation and organizational skills
Proven ability to execute, track and report on integrated marketing plans and tactics
Experience in social, content and digital marketing tactics
Excellent presentation, writing, and editing skills
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree – in marketing or equivalent
